The Physics Department meeting held on April 29 2026 discussed a number of important agendas, including the election of the Head of the Core Laboratory, improving student academic discipline, as well as developing the department's scientific roadmap. In the process of selecting the Head of the Core Laboratory, there were three candidates, namely Suprihatin, M.Si., Dr. Gurum Ahmad Fauzi, M.T., and Ayu Aprilia, S.Pd., M.Si. Based on the voting results, Ayu Aprilia, S.Pd., M.Si. was elected to assume this position.

Apart from that, the meeting also discussed the target for the percentage of students on time in attending lectures as part of efforts to improve the quality of the learning process.

In the aspect of scientific development, the Department of Physics also discussed the preparation of a roadmap for Expertise Groups (KBK) which includes KBK Instrumentation, KBK Materials, and KBK Energy and Environment. It is hoped that the development of this roadmap can become a strategic direction in strengthening the curriculum, research and collaboration in the future.
