Curriculum Evaluation – Master’s Program in Physics

The curriculum of the Master of Physics Program at the University of Lampung is evaluated to ensure that the implemented curriculum aligns with scientific developments and societal needs. This evaluation includes reviewing the curriculum structure, course materials, and teaching methods, as well as considering input from various stakeholders.

The curriculum development considers the following national regulations:

  • Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Regulation No. 44 of 2015 on National Standards of Higher Education.

  • Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 73 of 2013 on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI).

  • Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 3 of 2020 on National Standards of Higher Education.

Feedback from alumni, employers, and students is also a crucial consideration in designing compulsory and elective courses, as well as in developing the learning process.

The curriculum is designed with attention to:

  • Input: quality of prospective students, lecturer qualifications, and availability of facilities and infrastructure.

  • Process: quality of lectures, laboratory activities, and academic support activities.

  • Output: cumulative grade point average, duration of study, and on-time graduation rate.
